My goal is to establish a pure strain of the Castillo bloodline; therefore, I breed 100% pure Castillo blood for personal stock & for the preservation of the bloodline for generations to come. I don’t plan to outcross to any other bloodlines again, I want my dog’s blood pure. I also never plan on getting rid of my Castillo's. There is no other Castillo breeder with a gene pool as pure and tight as Coldsteel.  No one has as many consecutive generations as me, with one exception, the founder Mrs. Castillo. 
     My foundation consists of Castillo greats like CSK's Lucky Girl, Ch. Kash, Gr. Ch. Satin Kahlua, Ch. Sampson and an outcross made years ago to Ntl. Gr. Ch. Jericho's Dreamweaver.
Recently I bred my studs to a few of Tekla Castillo's females, these breedings are 100% pure Castillo but they had no similar ancestors for 6-8 generations back. Doing this we created hybrids of the Castillo bloodline, with more pure Castillo breedings to come. Someday Coldsteel will be open to the public, but for now I will only farm out to previous customers, friends, & true fanciers of this bloodline.
